In our seasonal workshops we use the best quality ingredients from the local area or specific regions to make a delicious main course followed by a lovely dessert.
We will start the course with a cup of tea or coffee and a chat about the chosen ingredients - including how to choose the best quality products, good places to shop in the local area and how to think about complimentary flavours and textures when planning a meal.
Each participant will have a copy of the recipes to follow and everybody will participate in preparing and cooking the meal together. The skills covered will vary depending on the ingredients and recipes chosen and the products available. We we sit down and enjoy our meal at the end of the session and a glass of local wine chosen to complement the recipes can be provided for those who would like one.
This course is designed for all levels of skill and aims to be both fun and informative. It is a great option for a group of friends who would like to have a fun cooking and catching up, or as an alternative to a restaurant meal to celebrate a birthday or occasion.
Please note that no guarantees can be made with regards to ingredients/recipes - the exact ingredients and dishes will depend on what is available from local suppliers on the day! All produce is sourced locally and only free-range or organic meat/fish/dairy products will be used, in accordance with our ethical approach. For more information about the suppliers we use please see the links section.
If you would like to request a specific regional dish from Germany, France or other countries we can talk about the options.
We can accommodate a maximum of 6 people for this course.
